The MMT Project (MMTx) is a Delaware-chartered non-profit corporation. It was founded in 2020 and commenced operations in 2024.
Its mission is promote public education and research around money and finance by building upon and further developing the Modern Money (MMT) paradigm.
It aspires to be the flagship think tank for the progressive MMT community, with programs including:
- maintaining a community resource library;
- developing public learning materials;
- teaching free courses and hosting symposia and conferences;
- coordinating, funding, and publishing original research,
- supporting future community leaders and scholars; and
- supporting MMN learning communities and PMA organizing campaigns.
